Throughout history, the United States has been a defender of freedom and champion of justice, though we often forget about the wonderful freedoms and the freedom loving lifestyle we enjoy here in the US. Imagine for a minute, if all of the wonderful freedoms that we love and enjoy were suddenly restricted and we had to be cautious of what we say or write or view on the internet or watch on TV. Imagine being forced to follow a religion you have no interest in or connection to. Imagine if the government took all of the money you earned and gave you an allowance to live on. Life would certainly be very unpleasant, to say the least. Unfortunately, many people on this planet are forced to live under similarly restricted conditions

At the Good Old USA website and e-commerce store, we are committed to keeping the spirit of freedom alive in the minds, hearts and souls of Americans and freedom loving people throughout the world. We offer everyday household items and apparel, bearing images, symbols, words, historical reminders and messages of freedom. What better way to support and promote freedom, than by displaying messages, images and symbols of freedom on everyday products and clothing. Both our website and our store serve as stark reminders of how fortunate we are to be living in the US, a nation that supports freedom for those who live within its borders.

So, inspired by the freedom loving values that have made and continue to make America great, we are honoring the Good Old USA through our website, through our products and our song which is still in the recording stage. Please support our effort.

Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech is the right of a person to articulate opinions, ideas, beliefs, and information without unreasonable interference or retaliation from the government. The term “speech” extends far beyond spoken or written words. It can include what a person wears, reads, publishes, creates, performs, displays, or communicates through peaceful protest and other forms of expression.

In the United States, freedom of speech is strongly protected by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. These protections are a fundamental part of American democracy and help ensure that people can question those in power, debate important issues, share unpopular opinions, criticize government policies, and participate openly in public life.

The United States’ free-speech protections are among the strongest of any democracy. The First Amendment protects a wide range of expression, including speech that many people may consider offensive, controversial, hateful, or deeply unpopular. Protecting free expression does not mean agreeing with every opinion. It means recognizing that the government should generally not be given the power to decide which ideas people are allowed to express.

Freedom of the Press

Freedom of the press is the right of journalists and media organizations to gather, publish, and share news and information without censorship, intimidation, or interference from government or from any powerful groups. It is a fundamental part of a democratic society because a free press allows the public to stay informed about important issues, government actions and current events. A free press promotes transparency and accountability, by investigating wrongdoing, exposing corruption and providing people with accurate, honest information to make informed decisions about problems and issues which arise. It also provides a platform for diverse opinions and encourages open public debate.

While the press should be free from unjust restrictions, it must also avoid spreading false information, hate speech, or content that could endanger public safety. Overall, freedom of the press helps to protect democracy, support human rights, and ensure that people have access to reliable information.

We must protect Freedom of the Press.

Freedom of Religion

Freedom of religion is a fundamental human right which allows people to choose, practice, change or follow the religion of their personal beliefs. It protects people’s right to worship freely, attend religious services, observe religious traditions and express their faith without fear of discrimination, harassment, or persecution. This freedom also includes the right to have no religion at all.

In a democratic society, freedom of religion encourages respect for different beliefs and promotes peaceful coexistence among people of various faiths and cultures. Governments are expected to protect this right by ensuring that no one is forced to adopt a particular religion or prevented from practicing their chosen faith, as long as their actions do not violate the rights and safety of others.

Freedom of religion plays an important role in promoting equality, tolerance, and mutual understanding. It allows people to live according to their values while respecting the beliefs of others. By protecting this freedom, societies can foster unity, reduce religious conflicts and uphold the dignity and rights of every individual.
Please protect Freedom of Religion.

Freedom of Opportunity

Freedom of opportunity also encourages hard work, innovation, and personal responsibility. When people know they have a fair chance to succeed, they are more motivated to develop their skills, work toward their ambitions, and contribute positively to society. At the same time, societies should work to reduce barriers such as poverty, prejudice, and unequal treatment that prevent individuals from reaching their full potential.

A society that protects freedom of opportunity is more likely to experience economic growth, social stability, and national development. It promotes fairness, equality, and respect for human dignity while giving people hope that their efforts can lead to success. By ensuring that everyone has access to opportunities regardless of their background, freedom of opportunity helps build a more inclusive, prosperous, and just society for all.

Freedom of opportunity is the principle that every individual should have an equal chance to achieve success and improve their quality of life, regardless of their background, race, gender, religion, ethnicity, disability, or economic status. It means that people should be judged by their abilities, talents, and efforts rather than by circumstances beyond their control. This freedom ensures that everyone has access to opportunities that allow them to develop their potential and pursue their goals.

One of the most important aspects of freedom of opportunity is equal access to education, employment, healthcare, and public services. Every person should have the chance to receive a good education, compete fairly for jobs, start a business, and participate in social, political, and economic activities without facing unfair discrimination. Governments, institutions, and communities all have a responsibility to create conditions where these opportunities are available to everyone.
